As a first time home-buyer, our surprise meeting Laurie and Mickey from Heart and Home Realty was kind of fortuitous. From the get go, Laurie was responsive, kind, thorough, and understanding while we wavered back and forth on whether we were ready to buy. In a situation where I was a young and inexperienced buyer, they offered invaluable guidance. However, they didn’t just tell me what to do. They empowered me with information and their experiences, listened to my needs and wants, and advised in a very non-abrasive way. Whether I chose to follow their advise or not, they respected any decision that I made.
The entire buying process and the real estate industry in general can be vast and confusing. Laurie and Mickie were extremely accommodating and made the process simple. If they didn’t know an answer to one of my questions (which was rare), the knew exactly who to contact, and promptly got back to me with accurate information.
By far, the biggest thing that set this duo a part, is their advocacy. Through complication and negotiation with official offers, inspections, and conversations with sellers, they completely had my best interest at the forefront. The late calls, time, and effort they put in was above and beyond. Even after the sell, when I had a complication with the house months later. They took action immediately and became a fierce advocate once again, even without a contract or incentive for them.
